This week we lost one of the finest members of Northwest Kiwanis.
Jacob L. Will joined Northwest Kiwanis in 1958; his sponsor was his father, E.J. Will. Mr. Will was club president in 1967. His many accomplishments include over 50 years as chairman of Easter Egg Hunt for Children and Adults with Disabilities. He chaired the scholarship committee for at least 20 years and helped dozens of students better afford a their education.
Jake was born and raised in Upper Arlington and graduated from Our Lady of Victory High School and later the Ohio State University. A life-long Arlington resident, Jake served as a member of the Building Standards of the City of Upper Arlington, member and Past President of the Upper Arlington Area Chamber of Commerce, President of the St. Agatha Church Administration Committee and served on the Community Vision Partnership.
Jake received the Community Enrichment Award from the City of Upper Arlington for the year 2002.
Jake’s loss is felt community wide.
