Northwest Kiwanis held the Margaret and Jake Will Scholarship Banquet on March 5 at the Amelita Mirolo Barn. Club awards scholarships. This year the club awarded 8 scholarships to Tri-Village-area students for excellence in the classroom and contributions to their communities and high schools. As in past years all of the applicants demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, community involvement and volunteerism.

This year, the club awarded seven $1,200 scholarships. The Jake Will Kiwanis Scholarship recipient received $2,400 in honor of our late Jake Will for his contributions to the Club and Tri-Village community. One of the $1,200 scholarships is funded by Tri-Village Soccer Association and given in the name of Dr. Robert E. Davis.
